We understand the challenges of chronic pain, illness and skin concerns, and our personalised treatments reflect our commitment to your unique needs. In a calming, supportive environment, we combine advanced technology with compassion and care to empower your body’s natural ability to heal.

LED light therapy works by stimulating your cells’ mitochondria the energy centers of your body—to enhance natural healing processes. This powerful treatment represents the future of natural non-invasive healing, it’s also relaxing, and scientifically backed to repair, rejuvenates, and revitalise.

Our LED Light Therapy Chamber has the ability to navigate between each light wavelength allowing us to tailor treatments to target specific cellular processes, modulate inflammation, promote collagen synthesis and accelerate tissue repair, among others.

  • Blue Light: Targets acne and inflammation, supporting clearer, healthier skin.
  • Green Light: Balances skin tone, reduces hyperpigmentation, and calms redness.
  • Yellow Light: Stimulates collagen production and soothes sensitive skin.
  • Red Light: Repairs tissues, boosts collagen, and reduces signs of aging.
  • Near-Infrared (NIR) Light: Penetrates deeply to alleviate chronic pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate recovery from long-term conditions.

The Science Behind LED Light Therapy

The best-studied mechanism of action surrounding red and near-infrared light therapy is the stimulation of mitochondrial energy production in the cells. Mitochondria are tiny organelles (organs within a cell) that produce all of the energy that our cells and our bodies ultimately need.

All molecules and atoms absorb very specific wavelengths of light. The specific molecule within the mitochondria that is thought to absorb red and near-infrared light is a chemical called cytochrome C oxidase. Cytochrome C oxidase plays an absolutely essential role in transferring electrons down an electrochemical gradient in mitochondria called the electron transport chain.

The electron transport chain is what drives the synthesis of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP is a complex organic molecule that is considered the “currency” of energy in the body.

LED light therapy is ultimately thought to improve the efficiency and speed of the electron transport chain, improving the availability of ATP in the cells and throughout the body. This increased energy is what is thought to provide the many benefits that red light therapy is used for.

LED Light Therapy is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light, including red, blue, and near-infrared, to improve skin health, reduce signs of aging, treat acne, promote healing, help with weight loss and chronic pain.

LED Light Therapy works by emitting light that penetrates the skin at different depths, triggering biological processes that help rejuvenate and repair the skin. Each wavelength has its specific effect.

Yes, LED light therapy is considered safe for most people. It’s non-invasive, doesn’t use UV light, and typically doesn’t cause side effects. However, eye protection should be used during treatment, and those with certain skin conditions or photosensitivity should consult a doctor first.

Sessions usually last between 20-30 minutes, depending on the treatment plan.

Visible improvements often begin after a few sessions, but optimal results are typically seen after several weeks of consistent use.

The number of LED light therapy treatments you’ll need depends on several factors, including the condition being treated, the severity of the issue, and the specific wavelength of light used. Here are general guidelines for common conditions:

1. Skin Concerns (Acne, Anti-Aging, Hyperpigmentation):

  • Initial Phase: Typically 2-3 times per week for 4-6 weeks to see visible results.
  • Maintenance: Once a week or biweekly, depending on the individual’s progress and goals.

2. Chronic Pain or Inflammation (using Near-Infrared Light):

  • Initial Phase: 2-3 times per week for 4-6 weeks, with treatments tailored to target pain and inflammation.
  • Maintenance: Sessions may decrease to 1-2 times per week or as needed to manage symptoms long-term.

3. Wound Healing or Tissue Repair:

  • Initial Phase: 3-4 sessions per week, depending on the injury’s severity and healing response.
  • Maintenance: Weekly treatments may be recommended until full recovery is achieved.

4. General Wellness:

  • Initial Phase: 2-3 sessions per week for 4-6 weeks to boost overall health and well-being.
  • Maintenance: Ongoing sessions every 1-2 weeks as part of a wellness routine

Stress is one of the most significant contributors to disease, depression, and anxiety. When the body is under prolonged stress, it triggers a cascade of physiological responses, including the release of cortisol and other stress hormones. While these hormones are essential for shortterm survival, chronic stress keeps them elevated, leading to a range of health problems. Prolonged stress weakens the immune system, making the body more susceptible to illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, and digestive disorders. Additionally, it disrupts the balance of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, which are crucial for mood regulation. This imbalance can lead to mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, creating a vicious cycle that further exacerbates physical and emotional health issues. Managing stress is, therefore, vital for both mental and physical well-being.
Red and near-infrared light therapy reduces stress and oxidative stress by stimulating cellular repair and enhancing mitochondrial function. This boosts antioxidant production and promotes a calming effect on the nervous system.

LED Light Therapy in Paramedical Tattooing

LED light therapy is used before and after paramedical tattooing for several reasons, enhancing both the procedure and the healing process. Here’s why

Before Paramedical Tattooing:

LED therapy, particularly red light, increases blood circulation and prepares the skin by promoting oxygen and nutrient delivery to the treated area. This can optimize the skin’s condition for better pigment absorption.

If the area has any underlying inflammation or irritation, LED light can calm the skin, making the tattooing process smoother and less painful.
Infrared light can help reduce discomfort by stimulating the release of endorphins, potentially improving the client’s experience during the procedure.

After Paramedical Tattooing:

Red and near-infrared light promote tissue repair by enhancing collagen production and cellular regeneration, which are crucial for healing the tattooed area.
LED therapy helps reduce post-treatment inflammation, minimizing redness and swelling, which can also prevent complications like excessive scabbing.
By stimulating the immune response, LED therapy supports the body’s natural defense mechanisms, lowering the risk of infection during the critical healing phase.

By boosting the skin’s recovery process, LED therapy helps stabilize the pigment in the skin, ensuring longer-lasting results and reducing the need for touch-ups.

Incorporating LED light therapy around paramedical tattooing underscores a commitment to optimal outcomes and client care.
